There are many cultural centers where you can participate in a variety of cultural activities in Gwangju. The culture classes’ advantages are lower costs than learning from private educational institutions. There are programs operated by department stores’ culture centers, organizations and institutions.

Buk-gu Cultural Center
The center is located in the annex of the Youth Training Center. The center offers various cultural programs, such as kids taekkyeon classes, scientific experiment classes and origami classes.

Gwangju Ceramic Culture Center
The center provides various programs, such as how to enhance creativity and concentration from school-age children to middle and high school students by using clay crafts and ceramics.

Namdo Folk Food Museum
The Museum has introduced traditional food of Gwangju and the Jeonnam province. They have various exhibit halls and experience centers. Cooking classes are available for groups of 3 persons or more.
